OSHA 1910.178:
The
Occupational Safety and Health Act states: “Only trained
and authorized operators shall be permitted to operate a powered
industrial truck”
“Training shall consist of a combination
of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive computer
learning, video tape, written material), practical training (demonstrations
performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the
trainee), and evaluation of the operator’s performance in
the workplace”
“All
operator training and evaluation shall be conducted by persons
who have the knowledge, training, and experience to train powered
industrial truck operators and evaluate their competence"

will meet OSHA training requirements. Our program is easily
adaptable to most fleets, large and small.
The program will
also assist forklift users and operators in:

The Operator Training Class Consists of:
• Classroom
Presentation Utilizing Videos & Other Visual Aids
• Basic Lift Truck Principles
• Safe Operating Procedures
• Load Handling & Stacking
• Traveling
• Equipment Pre-Operation Inspection
• Operator’s Responsibilities
• Lift Truck Dynamics
• Course Review
• Optional Operator Hands-On Evaluation Course
• Each Student Will Receive An Operator’s Training Kit, A Certificate
of
Recognition & An Operator’s Certification Card.
Classroom
and Hands-On Sessions Maximum of 12 Students Per Class. Full Day Class.
Training
is held at our location or can be held at the customer site (additional charge
for travel may apply). We
are flexible to various shifts and days the customer may require.
Evening and Weekend Classes will include an additional $25.00 per
student.
